Newbie and I need some help

I have to rebuild a steering column for a 65 and its missing some parts. I was wondering if anyone had pictures or a detailed diagram that would help me out. My brother had someone try to repair awhile back and they ended up losing parts any help would be great.

Re: Newbie and I need some help

Its the original column from the '65, the truck is a floor shift. I will try to post pictures of the parts that I do have. I just needed to know how it goes back together and what parts I am missing.

Re: Newbie and I need some help

if you look at LMC truck you can get a minimal exploded view, the assemble manual is about the same, not much good.

I got my turn signal switch, upper bearing, cancel cam and the little hat that attaches to the wheel to actuate the canceling from Classic Parts (along with all the pretty parts), the bulb that shows through the indicator I got from LMC.

There is a guy near me who does the column rebuilds, I havent used him but I want to take my column to him for rebuild and painting.

That would be around $300.00 labor plus the parts I think. PM me if you want his info.
