Help me ID my spindles / ball joints!

So long story short the PO on my 69 CST truck converted to 5x5 with discs up front and I can't figure out what the heck kind of ball joints / spindles /tie-rods I have (ball joint pics below).

Spindle part nos.
RH83889482 e261
LH53968481 e211

The upper ball joint was still riveted into the A-arm so I assumed they either got a spindle that would work with the correct 69 ball joints or replaced the whole a-arm or crossmember from like a 71-72 (control arm was still the metal on metal type).

I have looked at both the 1969 and the 71-72 ball joints and neither of them look like they match. Both are shorter by about 1/2 an inch compared to the ones taken off the truck, and both new ones in the store had threads from the end of the large tapper til the end of the rod and the cotter pin holes don't even come close to lining up.

I plan on replacing upper/lower ball joints, tie rods, ect but first I have to figure out what I'm working with and so far i'm not having any luck! I will be getting all Moog but I have to ID them first.

This is all based off of the cheap-o upper ball joints I've seen at Auto Zone and assuming that the PO made sure the tappers matched & were all correct all the way around. Not trying to bash the guy, but he did a lot of things 1/2 backwards.

Any help will be most appreciated!

Re: Help me ID my spindles / ball joints!

Find a moog book. It will have taper diameters, taper per inch and length of the stud and you cab ID it from there.
