fuel setup for 2006 motor....
So, my motor looks like this one. It has one feed. I was planning on using a fuel sending unit from an 87 blazer (unit has 4 outlets), and fuel pump from 1990 iroc camaro. Do i need to order anything else?

You'll also need a Corvette fuel filter/regulator to use the returnless fuel rail.

No, If it did then you would have a feed and a return line.

Re: fuel setup for 2006 motor....
is there a cheaper (yet just as good) alternative to the corvette filter/regulator?
So this is what i have so far: 1990 Jeep Wrangler gas tank (25 gallon. It is what fits, don't ask) - spectra premium #JP1D 1987 Blazer sending unit - spectra premium #FG12k 1990 camaro iroc fuel pump - ACDelco #EP241 2000 corvette filter/regulator - wix - #33737 Anything i might be missing? I plan on ordering from rockauto unless someone can recommend a cheaper place? (I will be getting this stuff shipped to the border so trying to order everything from one location)

Re: fuel setup for 2006 motor....
A Wix filter is a pretty good alternative to the $100+ AC Delco, they're about $45. Any other brand I would stay away from.

Re: fuel setup for 2006 motor....
thanks for that. changed it on my list. My total for all that is $269.65 so far (including shipping).
The wix filter is only $35 at rock.

Re: fuel setup for 2006 motor....
Can someone tell me the difference between the EP381 pump vs the EP241? I am using a 25 gallon tank (if that helps). Better yet, can someone tell me what would be the proper replacement pump for a sending unit from a 1987 blazer with 25 gallon tank?

Re: fuel setup for 2006 motor....
difference you are asking about is here.
http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/fuelin...-vs-ep381.html the LS motors need 58PSI at the rail minimum.

Thanks for this. Changed my list. I wish incorrect info like this (using pump ep241) was taken off this site.
