need help with widow regulators on a 1963 c10

I need to know what holds the half gear thing on its just hanning in the door I can feel where there was suposed to be a bolt or a pin but I can't tell wich one anybody know what size it is

Look on the other door to see how it goes together and what bolt it uses. Then look inside the door at the bottom for any loose bolts or screws.

You're in luck. I just replaced both regulators on my '63 and still have the old ones laying around.

The gear piece you are referring to is connected through the center with what looks like some sort of rivet or something.

I attached a photo of the front and back of one of my old ones.

There is a possibility that the large gear you are referring to has come un-attached to the the window handle gear, which is suppose to keep pressure on the larger gear because the larger gear is under load from a spring.

In any case, after messing around with mine, i found it was just easier to buy two new replacement window regulators. Just pull your door internals apart and take your window regulator out and you'll see what i mean. classicparts.com has some in stock, I just ordered 2 and had to wait while they got new shipment in.

Wow thanks alot ill have to prob get a new one that big rivit must have broke. Maybe I can make something up when I get it out
