Turbo v-6 64 3/4 ton on CL, WTF?!
What the hell is this setup and how does it work? Looks insane! Looks like the fuel is sucked threw the turbo and runs to the intake threw that tube!

thats known as a draw through setup, its used alot in the vw crowd when they do turbo builds on the old bugs

It seems like it would be an act of Congress to get the thing started. I mean, i know about draw threw setups, but this one is sucking the air/fuel mixture threw the turbo, and then spitting it back out threw the tube attached to where the carb used to sit! Seems unpossible to me.

Just found this pic, So i guess it is pretty common place to do this extreme of a draw through setup! Just seems like you would have to really flowing some air for it to carry the fuel all that way!

all the early turbo Buicks with V6's and the 301 in the trans am had draw thru systems ........ Thats what I think this came off .. I give the guy an "A" for the effort!!
