Body Roll help.

My truck is a 65 with stock every thing. I want to lower it and rid my truck of the body roll in one foul swoop. What are my options fellas? pic would be nice.Thanks.

tons, body roll can be lessened by adding front and rear stabilizers.

Lowering it depends on how far you want to go.

front- 2.5" spindles/0-2" springs
rear- all spring? spring/block? bags?

Are you planning on towing and/or hauling heavy stuff with it?

Alot of guys do like, drop spindle with 2" spring for front and rear air bags with adj pan hard bar. sway bars for front and rear for sure.

Agreed, easy to do but you have to be honest on what you do with your truck.
I bought the CPP kit with 3/5 drop coils, front and rear sway bars, adjustable trac bar and shocks all in one. HUGE difference, I need front drop spindles still but not ready to convert to disc brakes yet.

Depending on what you're currently running, a lot can be done with a decent set of radial tires. Old soggy bias ply tires are notorious for poor handling. New shocks will also help a great deal if the originals are shot.

My truck has a rebuilt front suspension, sway bar and 2" drop coils on the front. rear is waiting on money but my truck handles well considering the arse end is a mile high. eventually I want to do rear air bags, I am buying parts by the month and in a few months I will buy the bags and such.

Just as some of the other guys have mentioned you need to know what you want to do with your truck. Daily driver, hauling/towing, what kind of roads you normally drive on is good info too. Your best bet will be to lower your center of gravity by lowering it, either with drop spindles, springs or air bags or a combination of them. Along with that new shocks, front and rear sway bar with bushings, replacing old worn out body mounts and good radial tires will all help solve your body roll problem. Check your control arm bushings and ball joints as well, not much gain in body roll solution but any play in the suspension will attribute to it, besides they are cheap insurance.

Yea I Would love to air bag it but budget is small. I will be using it as a truck, like hauling small trailers and some time haul things in the bed. Like i said before it is bare bones stock.Dont we get a 10% discount at CPP for being on the site?

Then rear bags would be the way to go, you could get a rear bag setup without the comp and tank for around $300., static on the front with 2.5 spindles and 2" springs, that would probably set you at around $500. rebuild your front suspension parts at the same time, money well spent.
