fronts are 245-45-17 and the rears are 20x10 with 305-50-20's, I wanted the pro street look twisted with a modern 20" wheel though...... throw in the old school look of an American Racing Torque Thrust II big and little combo and I think it works

Pretty nice and low truck, that primer on it gives it that retro look,
What kind of disk brake setup are you running on the rear end?

Yes, thats a ton of high-quality, well thought out work! I still want to know how you're going to slide in the 4x8 plywood sheets from Home Depot though!

Thanks for the kind words.
I plan to make my own wheel tubs and bridge cover i have the equipment and would love to use the truck as an example. The disc brakes are 73-87 fronts with dropped spindles. the disc brakes on the rear are Ford explorer, i cheated and went with a 9" axle from Currie, they are easier to narrow than a GM, the explorer uses an integrated e-brake inside the rotor hat so it looks cleaner than a regular e-brake setup. there is not much 68 mechanical stuff left on the truck. The master cylinder and booster are from Master power brakes. www.mpbrakes.com This is my daily driver so its not going to get the extreme touches, I just wanted something cool, dependable, and easy to commute in Phoenix traffic. Sorry no side view shots yet, next time it is out I will get one. |
