Re: 85 Blazer ?

Got any pics that would greatly help. I would kinda add everything thing up thats done to it and subtract anything that needs to be fixed might give u a ball park figure to go on.

Re: 85 Blazer ?

got to give this dude an offer today... I know he wants to sell it and has not advertised it yet... he did tell me that it has been non op for 5 years and driven to the store down the road and back once ot twice a week for this time.... he has 11 vehicles and said he just wants to sell his stuff...... he said any decent cash offer will be good. He did say it didn't pass smog because it needs some carb adjustment... He is a really good friend of the family and I trust him not to sell me a junker that would cost an arm and leg to fix.... so what do you all think for an offer

Re: 85 Blazer ?

That's a really nice Blazer... It would be awesome if you could get it for $2000, but that offer might offend him. Maybe acknowledge that it's worth more, but tell him what you honestly have to spend... I hope you get it. I'm thinking he's going to want $4k or so. A guy with 11 cars is sure to know what a vehicle is worth. There's no fooling him.

Wow! wouldn't that be amazing? a beautiful daily driver like that, and not car payment... Although I hate to hear that a duramax is getting dumped. It usually does the dumping.

Re: 85 Blazer ?

I hear ya, but I do love the d-max it is a awsome ride... but I think the money will be better spent in the bank towards a new house payment..... plus I could put a few hundred into the blazer and make it nice.... get away from the $$$ of diesel fuel it is $4.10 a gallon... not to mention the $500 monthly...... what do you think the blazer will get for milage with a good tune up
check it out......
