Stainless Steel Coolant Recovery Tank
Anyone replaced their GM plastic coolant recovery tank using one of those stainless steel ones they use on Hot Rods? They sure do look nicer than those faded white stock ones....

There's a bagged 98 CHevy in town that did that. He had to, since he removed the fenderwells. It looks really good! I ought to see him again a week from tomorrow, I'll take pictures of it and post.

Is this the one you are talking about? I have 3 of them in my Blazer, hidden in the core support. All you can see is the cap.
You can get them at most Streetrod shops. I got mine fromParr Automotive

Yes, that's the kind I've seen. Why 3? I know they are about 2" dia. and 14" in length. May not hold too much. Do you expect that much overflow?

2. Washer fluid 3. Power steering 4. Radiator cap All the caps stick through the new core support. I wanted everything to look even..... |
