You need two tools in life: duct tape and WD-40. If it moves and it shouldn't, you use duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, you use WD-40.

Re: Any Apaches

Back when I was 18 I had a 60 Apache. I wish I had pictures of it. The title said 59 Chevy year model 60. I believe it was the first year for this body style.

You can find 60-61 Apaches around still. However, it is the custom cab version with side body trim pieces that are almost impossible to find. The one in my pic is a pretty rare truck especially since i have all the trim and it is mint condition. Plus, the aluminum 61 grills along with the side trim pieces are what really make this model truck rarer than most any other 60-61.

every last 60 and 61 produced , except for the vikings and spartans (C/50 and up ) were apaches... no they are not too rare, and with a little searching around , you should be able to find a nice builder/fixed version from around $500 to $3000

Here's my 60 short step big window factory 283 powerglide. Paid $400 for her, but I've got a whole lot more in her now.

Re: Any Apaches

And here's the 58 long step. Sat in a barn since 83, untouched except someone robbed her of the 283.
