Nice looking Suburban. What are your plans for it?

Re: Daddy Daughter time and a new project
Its going to be a very budget built driver. Lowered, tires and wheels and mechanicly sound for now. I've got a few things to do before I start on it though. I will start a thead about it when I get going.

Re: Daddy Daughter time and a new project
WOW how time flys. When I went to get this truck my twins were a couple weeks old and now they are both with in weeks of taking thier first steps.
I have made a last minute decision that I have to go on Hot Rod Power Tour. I can't make the whole thing but at least 2-3 stops. I don't have anything close to being ready to take but the Suburban is the closest I have and is big enough to carry the family and all the crap the two babies and a 6yo need to have with them. |

Re: Daddy Daughter time and a new project
Jon that is probably exactly what we will do. I will stay in touch.
It seems like a long way away but working 11-12 hours a day + commute + family duties I have got to get my but in gear. A short list of what I have or want to do. -get motor running after sitting pretty much the last two years. I had it running to get it up the trailer last year but that's the only time I have heard it run. -rebuild or replace the transmission -check brakes and safety systems -remove running boards -get A/C working -add factory rear A/C -lower front and rear -install my big n little ralleys -replace broken windshield -have dual exhaust installed with some sort of muffler that sounds ok with a stock 350 If I will have time left I will tray to fix the body damage on the RH front corner and a few other cosmetic items. Still have a few things to wrap up and get out of my wat in the garage but it think I can finish the this weekend. |
