control arm question...help asap!
Hey guys i just put on my new set of control arms on my 81 swb and it raised my truck up...i reused my coil springs so i know its not because they havent started to sag...could it be the new bushings thaat caused it to go up 1 1/4 inches? its a noticable difference and i dont like it please help asap! try looining the bolts on the control arm and retightining them with the weight on the wheels ... the bushing could be twisted

You have to tighten the control arm bushings with the weight on them like was said. You might even have to bounce it a little to get them sitting right. Also make sure your springs are sitting properly in the pockets.

i did make sure the coils were sitting in the pockets right...thanks ill take it to the shop and loosen those up and put the weight of the truck on them then impact them back on
