Re: V8 Conversion Headers - 1st Generation S10
sanderson, patriot, and hedman make a standard (they are pretty much the exact same thing) shorty v8 swap header. They tuck in the frame, and the 3 and 5 cylinder tubes wrap around the steering shaft. Depending on how far your engine is pushed rearward you may have to a little "massaging" of the passenger side firewall below the ac box, around where the antenna goes into the body. Buts its pretty minimal and can be done with a hammer. Ive been running a set daily for around 4 years with no problems.
![]() only pictures i have of mine, not very good but you get the idea of how snug they fit. However there isnt much stock about my engine bay but the engine went into a 100% stock truck in the beginning and everything fit Last edited by v8blaze; 09-15-2010 at 08:53 PM. |

Re: V8 Conversion Headers - 1st Generation S10
I have a set of headers I'm not using. I think they're Headman. I can look tomorrow and let you know if you're/he's interested. I have conversion mounts too (4.3 to V8)
