68 disc brakes
I have a 68 that I would like to convert to disc brakes...I have an 82 donor truck, and I would like to put dropped spindles on it. Does anyone know if the 82 parts will work with any of the aftermarket spindles that are out there?

Re: 68 disc brakes
Buy 73-87 spindles and you will be fine.
BUT,... make sure you measure the width of your rotors before you order. There are 2 different spindles. They make spindles for HD 1-1/4" wide rotors and LD 1" wide rotors. (heavy duty and light duty)

Re: 68 disc brakes
Make sure you use the '82 center link too, then you aren't mixing the tie rod ends. The center link will bolt right up to the pitman arm just fine.
