bed angle strip spacing
This is for an early 50 bed. The PO fancied himself as a custom installer and drilled the holes different on the angle strip both sides and bolted in a piece of plywood with a finished thin plywood over it. Now I am getting ready to put it back to stock and would like to know the bolt hole spacing front to back so I can repair and redrill the angle strip. I am going to repair the angle strip as the exterior paint is very good.
Thanks |

Re: bed angle strip spacing
94 degrees and he has me out back measuring a bed side.
OK measuring from the end of the bed side (not the end of the angle) 2 14-3/4 27 40-3/8 53-7/8 76-1/2 That was as close as I could get to the centers of the worn holes in this bed side. The 2 may be closer to 1-3/4 as that hole is pretty well worn. |

Re: bed angle strip spacing
Hopefully you will get a cold beverage out of it....
Be glad you could have been out in the yard searching under 2' of water for the parts....
