my doors again

On My 52, yes we think it is actually a 52, there was a metal strip around the edge of the window frame. You know, kind of covering the seam between the exterior sheet metal and the interior sheet metal. When I was working on it the other day, rust proofing, I found that is was very rusty. I pulled it out (It broke right off.) and didn't think twice about it. Now where ever I look, I cant find a replace ment piece. I think about it And I cant remember a seam on it. The only reason I got it out was because it was so rusty. Do you know where I could find a replacement, preferably better than the one I pulled out?
