Truck accessories with "Car" intake

How many on here would like to keep your truck accessories (assuming most are getting 5.3s and 6.0s from trucks) and run a car style intake-LS1/6/2/3 or FAST 90/92/102?

We had some of the WP spacers made so you can keep your truck accessories.

Will have more pictures with them installed soon but wanted to let you guys know we had them and can get you set up.

$70 shipped, you will get 2 spaces, 6 bolts/washers and for $15 more I can send you GM WP gaskets.

How does this work with the belt routing?

Re: Truck accessories with "Car" intake

Let me rephrase some things, I made some assumptions....sorry....

This allows you to run a 'car' intake with the truck accessories but you will still need a car WP due to the outlet of the truck WP is out the top which gets in the way of the TB.
If you want to run an electric water pump from an LS1/2 these are also needed.

You will also need the tensioner from a F-body.

You can drill and tap these for the steam line from the heads.

Ok, so i'm assuming the car water pump is shorter, and the spacers put the pulley back in line with the rest of the accessories, right?

Re: Truck accessories with "Car" intake

the car WP is more compact and these spacers move the WP out to line up with the other accessories.

Re: Truck accessories with "Car" intake

FYI-going to start drilling/tapping one of these for a nipple to be used incase you want to put the crossover tube in there.
if not you will have a cap included as well.

Re: Truck accessories with "Car" intake

I thought you only needed to relocate the idler pully to clear the tb they make a relocation bracket. I never knew that the hose barb was and issue but i would not change my intake any how unless it was for a ls6 or fast witch neither i can afford. lol!

You do need to relocate the idler pulley, and the WP has to be changed b/c the truck style comes out the top and is in the way for the TB.
Most of the time the crossover tube is attached to the Fbody radiator if you are using that, some are not using Fbody rads and then some would tap the WP or do some fittings in a hose. The WP spacers being tapped helps alot.
