another seat idea to ponder
So I have a set of buckets and the center console / middle seat from an '03 silverado. have any of you ever put these in your blazer? were you able to still use the tilt foward frame? any pics? how about the back bench? I have that also. have any of you found a way to mount that to the tilt foward frame?

Re: another seat idea to ponder
I don`t know about the rear bench from a truck, but the Suburban 3rd row is the same width as the stock blazer seat. If you swapped all the loor brackets, you could have a folding removable rear. I know you can do the front seat using the stock Silverado mounts, without to much trouble. I don`t know if the cntr console will work though. My buddy put 02 seats in his K5, but used the split bench w/out the cntr seat, and it was almost a bolt in. I really don`t think you will be able to use the stock K5 brackets in any way.

Re: another seat idea to ponder
For the front buckets from newer trucks I think most people notch the floor pan out for the rails since they are taller I guess and then put a reinforcing piece under the body because the seat belt is in the seat ad no longer on the wall as for the backs I'm not sure

Re: another seat idea to ponder
I put 02 silverado front buckets in my 75 K5 a few years ago. Because the silverado seat frame/tracks are all integrated, you can't keep the pass side tilt forward function for access to the rear seat. However, the seats move far enough forward that tilting the seat back gets enough room to get back there. I made brackets to bolt to the existing seat mounting points on the floor and match up to the silverado frames.

I've been thinking about putting a set in the front of my Suburban out of an 04 silverado myself
