Custom Cab Trim Retainer Strip
Anyone know where I can buy just these retainer strips? Most of the catalogs include them with the purchase of the trim pieces, but I already have those. Just need the retainers. I can buy the screws that secure them to the cab, but not the retainers themselves.
HELP!

Re: Custom Cab Trim Retainer Strip
You can only get them from a parted truck or from the above kit. I have asked a couple times for someone to send me one and Ill have some made ( my dad can do it) but none so far.

It's a simple offset piece. You could make them up if necessary.

Re: Custom Cab Trim Retainer Strip
I just fabricated my own out of aluminum, stepped it, and had it clear anodized.

Re: Custom Cab Trim Retainer Strip
You can cut a small piece of metal or stainless to length and use a cheap harbor freight hole punch/flange tool and get the step in it, worked great for me.

Thanks to all! If I come by an original one Clyde, I'll send it off to you to have some made.
