Wow..

This is cool, a board just for Blazers/Jimmys. The only other thing to do is, POST SOME PICS!!!!!
I just need to get some updated pics of my never ending project...
75 2wd Blazer, the only pic I have is from the night I brought it home, it sits in the garage in a thousand pieces and will some day live again.....
So let's see um...

Doug, yes it is all original. I don't believe there are any fenderwell tags on 73-87's...usually they were on the inside of the glovebox...and mine happens to have been removed at one point in time.

The vinyl woodgrain option was pretty un-common for these trucks...which is exactly why I purchased this one.

Feel free to use these pics, I think I have more at home and can post them if you like.

Here's a couple pics of my 1980 silverado after a couple weeks of compounding and polishing. It had been sitting for about ten years and had four rotten tires when I bought it 2 months ago. With some preventitive measures like fuel filter, oil change, thermostat, fulsh, and then some gas it fired right up. I had planed on a least to tune it up, but decided not to for fear I would mess it up. Cold AC with one can of r-12. All original w/53000 well now 55000 original miles.

My wife's 77 Blazer

There is not one single bolt, screw, nut, clip, or widget, that I haven't had off this thing. We took it down to the barest of bare and started back together with it. Lot's of work invloved here.

Envious!

All nice 2WD's guys! I wish I could find something as nice that wasn't all rusted out or beat up, which is difficult up here in the RUSTBELT. I have a plan, if a can find the right one. GM didn't sell alot of 2 WD's around here, mostly 4X4.

I guess I need to get in on this. I have spent so much time with my 77 lately, the Blazer gets neglected.

Here's what I started with. She's a 1982 C/K 2wd Blazer. From the factory it was equipped with a smog dog 305, a 700r4, and 3.42 gears...

Here's a pic of my 1978 Jimmy. I'm hoping to have it running right by "california" standards soon. Any ideas or suggestions i'd be glad to hear. I'm new to the site, but hope I can learn some good things here....
