70 C10 L98 5.7L swap

Hi Yall,
I am putting a L98 350 engine in my 70 C10 short bed. Just wondering if anyone has done this and any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
I forgot to add that I am using a 700r4 tranny so if anyone has any idea on what size driveshaft Should use I would appreciate it.
Thank you

Red face Re: 70 C10 L98 5.7L swap

Nice to see someone else did the L98 swap. My rig is running, but I need to find out how to connect the temp gauge and ammeter. I have wiring diagrams from the Service manual but haven't been able to figure out how to make the connections for the ammeter and temp gauge ( L98 has 2 Temp sensors, 1 for each bank). Detailed info would be GREAT!
I have installed a newer model "one wire" alternator and haven't yet seen a diagram to connect a '72 dash harness to a "one wire" alternator.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
