Truck found an old friend
With my new year's resolution to eat healthier, I went to McDonald's at 10:40pm and there was a 63 longbed there. When I got out, one of the guys asked me about my 63 truck and then realized that we knew each other 20 years ago because of our trucks. His son was just given the 63 and without the truck conversation we wouldn't have had that conversation to recognize each other. Pretty cool stuff. We stood in 35 degree weather until 12:30 talking. Old trucks do pay off.

Just kidding. Great story! It's cool how our vehicles can bring strangers (and old friends!) together.

Re: Truck found an old friend
I've known some real jerks with really cool cars.
Guys with our trucks are, as a rule; good guys. Thanks for sharing.

Truck found a new friend
I had a similar experience one time, but in my case it was a friend I hadn't made yet. Happened something like this: Quote:
