Question AC Question (wiring)

So I'm using a 2006 LQ4 compressor with two wires coming off of it. One is green and one is black... Green is 12 volt to engage the clutch and black is ground or ?????????????

All the hoses are built and I'm ready to charge it up and try it out. Of course it supposed to be 17 degrees in the morning.
