Re: Ad frame boxing question
If the crossmembers are good most guys just box up to them. That is on almost any frame that gets boxed be it 32 Ford or AD Chevy truck.

Re: Ad frame boxing question
That would be easier. I was looking at it today and it is solid so maybe I can tie into it on both ends. The frame surprisingly square now so I am leery of removing that cross member because of the cross bracing the gusseting has!

Re: Ad frame boxing question
I removed the old cross member but we went with a Progressive cross member. I have a few pictures on my build thread.

Re: Ad frame boxing question
I am going to make them so I can pretty much do what i want. The kits are nice but I seem to always be doing something that makes more work than if I just make it myself.

I removed the OE cross member. I have pics on my build thread showing the box plates I made.

Re: Ad frame boxing question
My original plans were to build a triangulated four link set up. You will have a good handling set up and no wheel hop as an added benefit. Keep us posted with photos of your set up.
