'59 grill wall art..
I had an extra 59 grill laying around that I decided to mount as wall art. I put LED's in the parking light sockets and back lit it also with LED's. Looks cool when you drive into the garage at night.

Re: '59 grill wall art..
Love it. What lights did you put in it?
I've got a rusty old dash from a '46 truck that I got when looking for only the trim. I plan to give it a quick sand and paint and hang it up too. Now this has me thinking how can I use it to add some lighting or something? |

Re: '59 grill wall art..
I looked for LEDs that would work with a 120v plug and finally used a tv backlight thing from Ikea store. The grill is a bit rusted through on the bottom so I didn't want to use it on my truck.

Re: '59 grill wall art..
That's cool, I just hung my 58 grille on the shop wall but never thought of making a lamp out of it.
