47-49 Chrome grill owners any pic's

I am trying to decide if I should go with the cream or black backing with the chrome grill.

Any one have pic's to share?

What is your truck color going to be? I went with black because it tied in with the other black in my paint scheme, plus I was lazy and didn't want to dissemble it and paint it a custom color.

Yeah I like that black look too.

My truck is going to be burnt orange that is why I am considering the cream also.

I have seen them with the cream backing, but can't for the life of me find one now!!!

Well my truck is red/black, and I have a chrome grille.

I have decided that it needs to be black and I'm not buying another one - have you ever heard of plasti-dip? Works great and you just peel it off if you get tired of it - pretty cool stuff....

I think that the black usually goes better with the custom trucks than the cream if you aren't going to color key the grill backgrouind. The cream on the other hand may look better on a truck that is aiming for an all original look.
