imo unless you REALLY need the hood clearance it might be worth just getting something like the FAST truck manifold. The hp gains to the car manifold get offset by the price sometimes.

p.s.
Shon, this is your cue!

Go to LS1truck.com, there is a sticky created there that explains what is needed and how to install it.

I found it.. It wasn't easy.

Basically someone makes another tensioner setup and you wack off part of your Alt bracket, grind a little of the TB and thats the major parts...

Re: and what does it take to run an LS6 intake with truck accesorries?

I am doing this now in the 88LX coupe I am putting together.
Using truck bracketry with 'car' intake.
Got to cut some of the bracketry, space out water pump*, F-body tensionor, relocate pulley*, then if its a cable style TB you will have interference with the IAC/TPS connections and you will trim some more of the bracketry some more.

WP Spacers-of course I have them and they can be drilled/tapped for steam vent return.

Relocation of pulley: Also have these made up and need to have them tapped or you can use some all thread or there are a few others out there that make the parts needed.

WP: you can use a newer truck WP that has a different outlet than the older style truck one that come straight out the top, which is in the way.

ALSO note, that you will have to change injectors and the ends when doing this. The only make marine injectors that fit the MULTECII ends and those are hard to find. But you can change over to EV1 or EV6 ends and have all the injector options you need.

I am sure I have missed something....
