Like my new gril?
Over the weekend I swapped out my broken grill for a '73, along with the headlight bezels. I'm apparently missing two grill brackets that mount roughly a 1/3 of the way across each side, but it seems to be solid enough till I can find them.
I'm thinking about painting the new grill satin black with a red/silver bowtie/350, painting the wheels gloss black, the top satin black, and using dark gray vinyl to fill in the side trim. Figure I'll go with vinyl, so I can switch the color out if I choose to later. Thought about going with black on the side, but afraid it will look to much like a police vehicle... Before: After: |

Looks good on your truck!
I just got the trim pieces so that mine will look like your before picture.

Re: Like my new gril?
Thanks. I really like the new look, especially the headlight bezels. Gonna hang on to the grill brackets. I think the original would look good painted black with the Chrome strips. It had a lot of the smaller piece broken though. Wondering how it would look if I just cut out all those little pieces and left the larger open holes.
