Transmission question

I have a good question, will the 4l60 transmission that came with the Lt1 engine work on a 02 5.3 motor? I have the computer and harness from that motor with the plug that plugs into that transmission, so basically my question is it the same 4l60 or not?

Re: Transmission question

Technically it depends on the year of LT1, it needs to be 1996 or later, the earlier ones were not PWM and are different it the way the torq converter locks up. The one you need will have PWM cast into the front pump.
