Hinge plates for 72 Blazer hatch
I have two sets of hinge plates for the inside of the hatch on a 72 double wall hatch. I'm not sure if they would fit a single wall as I have not seen a one with the hatch. One of mine was completely roached so I had new ones made. Making 6 was as cheap as 2 since the bending process was quite hairy. These are brand new 16 gauge re-pops from a local machine/sheet metal fab shop. They may be out by a thousandth or so but very usable!
I'm asking $60 apiece or $100 a set. |

Re: Hinge plates for 72 Blazer hatch
Any body rebuilding a hatch could use these to make it like new, mine sagged really bad on one side due to these plates being too thin/rusted through, fixed it good as new.
Any offers??? |

Re: Hinge plates for 72 Blazer hatch
Hmm, I would have to check my single wall and see if I have an issue existing there already.. Of course I am assuming it even has the same hinges but they may not..

Re: Hinge plates for 72 Blazer hatch
I think all the hatches have these in them. But like the picture shows, they are actually inside the top to reinforce the hinge mount. Mine were rusted to pieces and I couldn't get my hatch to line up properly. Luckily the previous owner had sanded/cut about a half an inch off the bottom of one side of the hatch so that it would at least look like it lined up. You can imagine some of the problems this caused after correction. Gotta love K5 remuddlers.

Re: Hinge plates for 72 Blazer hatch
Wouldn't happen to have any latches and the loops that mount to the top by any chance? Thanks. Dave
