what cold air intake fits best?

Looking to get all my parts before I start my swap.So which cold air intake fits the best
in my 68. I am looking for something economical that looks decent. I guess it would have
more room if it curved out toward the drives side? Let me know what you guys used!

Thanks!

Re: what cold air intake fits best?

I just used an ebay silverado intake, and cut the pipe lengths to fit. Its on a '66, but the tubing and elbows included should let you do whatever you need. What I noticed helps, is finding a kit that has a *30 kink in it. This will let you come off of the tb, and turn without hitting the radiator hoses, especially if you are running the 3 or 4" piping.

Re: what cold air intake fits best?

I used the Spectre Performance Air Intake, part number Spectre 9900 from O Reily for a 2001 Suburban. Cost was about $140.00 and it came with a K&N filter. The tube can be swapped for driver or passengers side. Works good.
