Lightbulb Which water pump to use

I have to replace the water pump on my 5.3 swap. I know some parts you go with OEM, with other it doesn't matter. So my question to you guys is, what is your preferred brand of w/pump?

Should I order a Delco one from RockAuto or pick up a generic one from NAPA?

I would run a Delco, But they are not hard to change & I havent had any problems out of NEW aftermarket water pumps. Stay away from reman pumps.

Ive only seen 1 or 2 of these pumps go bad (leaking from the weep hole/bushing failure). But have replaced to many water pump to block gaskets to count. Check it out, Gaskets are cheap.
