Re: To paint or not
I think I'd do something to accent the letters but maybe not black? Something contrasting like interior color (if it's not black) or what would really look sharp may be silver/chrome/mirror looking?

Re: To paint or not
I was thinking maybe white, for a minor but distinctive accent.

Re: To paint or not
if the truck is customized - and by the looks of a yellow grille, I'd guess it is at least a little bit - why not "chrome" paint (or remove the yellow paint - or better yet have masked the letters when painting) so that you have silver/aluminum letters and they would match the headlight rings.
But generally speaking - paint them something - silver/chrome - white - black... Depending on how custom it is, perhaps with subtle pinstriping for drop shadows within the letters. Now look at me gettin all rembrandty with myself... |

Re: To paint or not
That orange from the interior would look pretty sharp, and do the tailgate letters as well..

Re: To paint or not
Chrome lettering. I'm sure you can find the adhesive kind. Would like great above that bumper.

Re: To paint or not
I agree, chrome lettering would look great. Also, I dig the bowtie on the bumper...is that photoshopped on there or what?

Re: To paint or not
i agreed with mark on the white untill i saw the interior.if it is solid yellow on the rest of the body then i would go with the orange/red or the interior.if your body has other colors then add pictures of the rest of the truck.

Re: To paint or not
X2. After seeing the interior I also like using the interior color for accent.

It looks great the way it is right now. Simple and clean. My 65 was done the same way as yours except red.
