Personally I like the rake. But it's an unpopular look for this forum.

Re: I need opinions be nice lol

put a 2'' block underneath your axel...2x2 steel or even 2x3...but dont exceed that with a block..that will flatten it out a bunch and still have a little nose bleed...............ive messed with that style trailing arm set up a bunch lowering....finally 4 me i found 6'' drop coils adjustable pan-hard bar and ran a 3''block....and its low...frame is notched and my pumkin is a couple inches from my bed

I share the same opinion as rendus, but should you decide to go with blocks and want to save some money, here’s a thread that may prove helpful:

Nice looking truck!

SRVBLUES64,

I noticed you started this thread some time back:
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=446443

And now it appears you found some nice seats.
What did you decide on?
Can we see some more pics?

Re: I need opinions be nice lol

You can buy blocks in 1/2" increments from 1/2" to 2" from CPP and others I'm sure. That way you can decide your ride height.

Re: I need opinions be nice lol

I think the rake is fine. In the past I've had trucks with a rake like that and I found they just had too much weight in the front ('75) to be comfortable over bumps. They rode better when I leveled them out a bit. My '66 has quite a rake and I like it.

Re: I need opinions be nice lol

Drive it like that for awhile and if you decide you still want to go lower, 1" block at a time. I think 2" might be too much, but I like it as is.

Btw, your bed wood is looking good! What did you use on it and did you seal the underside? I like the wheel choice too
