what can i do about this exhaust?
ok so i just put the rear air bags in and im just waiting for my drop spindles and 5 bolt swap to do the front bags...now my problem is the 250 inline 6 exhaust hang down so low its crazy...i want this truck low and i need to get this thing out of my way should i take it back to stock? right now it has a header that turns it into 2 pipes very cool but soooooo low ..any ideas?i want to lay frame at the end of my build so keep that in mind

Stock exhaust manifold or custom built header.

Look on speedway motors see if they sell a shorty header for it would be your best bet.

Your going to have to change it. Either replace those headers or cut till they are even with the frame. You mentioned you can weld, so lets see what you got.

ya it not the welding im worried about its the where do i run 2 pipes down one side i want it up in the frame....i would just swap out the motor and be done with it but its great on gas..

Why don’t you shorten the headers to pick them up in the frame rails then y them into a single 2 ¾” or 3” pipe and rout it like a v8. The volume you will be pushing with that engine will be well with in the 2 ¾” pipes cfm rate and it will be easy to rout.
