1965 C10 Front Suspension Question
We are replacing the suspension on my truck ad we bought new crossbars for the control arms and they came with new u-bolt brackets. We bought the rivets for them and we tried that and it didn't work out for us. Has anyone used any other type of fastener for them?

Re: 1965 C10 Front Suspension Question
I have not had to replace the LCA shaft saddles, but I would think you might be able to use an allen socket bolt, or a leaf spring center bolt in place of the rivets.

Re: 1965 C10 Front Suspension Question
This is correct. Allen socket bolts get the job done.

Re: 1965 C10 Front Suspension Question
We tried cap head bolts and the heads interfeered with the crossbar going up into the shackle flush.

Put up a pic of what you're working with if possible.
