Interior Dome Light
Hi Guys, My 84 did not come with a factory headliner or dome light but I want to intstall one along with a headliner. Does the dome light mount into the headliner itself or do you have to cut into the ceiling sheetmetal to install one?

Re: Interior Dome Light
You have to cut and have a lot of fun running wires

Re: Interior Dome Light
The dome light mounts into the cab metal liner and the headliner has a hole to match that one.
Two wires, The white one is always hot (12 volt) and the orange one is your switched wire to the ground coming from the door pins.

White is switched ground. It goes to the headlight and door switches. Orange goes right to the fuse panel. |
