235 worn out distributor bushings

Anyone know where to get new bushings for a 1962 235 distributor? I just got motor rebuilt, and the guy said every time the vacuum advance kicks in, my distrib fires poorly due to wear.

Re: 235 worn out distributor bushings

check and see what sizes that you require. places that special in bearings will usually have access to a supply of bushings. you can get a machinist to make them and fit them for you. a place that rebuilds them
