99+ cluster in c10

does anyone have cluster from a newer silverado 99+ in their 67-72 c10? I think it would be kinda neat to have the escalade which is the same as the truck clusters. Only problem I see is that the sterring wheel might be a little high to get the cluster in. Is there anyway to drop the wheel?

Re: 99+ cluster in c10

search for niceguy's highlander build. He has an excellent step by step installing a new cluster. I am cureently working on the same project and the cluster seems to fit if you recess it a coulple of inches.
Post plenty of pics and ask the questions you can't find answers to here. Everyone will jump in to help where we can
