Re: Where do you mount speakers?

The previous owner of my truck had two installed under the dash. They didn't look quite right so I took them out, but it's still not a bad location if done correctly. Plus, there's not much speaker wire hanging around. I'm sure someone has a better solution or one that's been better executed, but it's a thought.

Re: Where do you mount speakers?

I have heard of a really good replacement unit for the stock speaker under the dash that performs Very well, Forgot which company Might be LMC

Unfortunately for me I had the bright idea to cut 6 1/2" holes in the doors when I was 16

Best option is probably using a kick panel application

Re: Where do you mount speakers?

I have two small speakers in the dash (where the single factory speaker would go), and two 6x9's in the doors that the p.o mounted. I will be switching to running some speakers in the center console, where they can be mounted properly and actually sound decent.

Re: Where do you mount speakers?

I have a 3 way mounted in each back corner of the cab, facing outward, and one under each side of the seat, facing forward.
