carb question
This carb is missing the little tag. Does anyone one know which one it is to order/buy a rebuild kit.

i haven't been around a 2 barrel for many years. but it should be either a carter or rochester. look for a 7 numbers stamped on it somewhere. usually on the base plate. that should be all you need to get a kit for it.

you're very welcome. Just thought i'd add.. if it still has the original brass float, check it real good. they have a tendency to leak on that carb and pump gas into the oil.. not a good thing. seen more than one rounded cams on 307's with that set up.
