1966 Chevrolet Dash Board Controls

Hi,

I recently purchased a 1966 Chevrolet C30 pick up with customized controls that I would like to restore, I've been curious to what dash board controls are for what.

I know some of the basics such as:

The Left (_) one is Lights

The Left 2nd One is Wipers (< _)

The Left 3rd One is Manual Choke (< < _)

However on the right there's currently an ignition key lock that doesn't turn the truck on and a push button start, what was the control that was used where the push button control is? (> _) from pictures I've seen it's just a knob not being used for anything, but, I want to confirm this.
