Re: Project 78 High Sierra

Well its not perfect by any means and normally ive seen people selling good quality (Plastic wise) for about $65....So me being me...I would sell it probably for $50 plus shipping

Yet again i want to say the paint isnt perfect...there are a few dark spots of the black and what not... Its an AC unit with the top AC piece not attached...I might have one though.... and it has no clear coat on it Also the right corner has a small chip in it

Re: Project 78 High Sierra

A few little things done this A.M. Removed the old rusted out and almost gone batter tray...Hit the support with the wire brush and some left over Rust-Oleum Professional Semi Gloss Enamel, hit the new tray with the enamel and then I hit the brake thing with it too just because...Didnt even wire brush it...Figured why not...Prob will get some flat black for it eventually but since i was there and had some drop still on the truck just hit it...

Also installed my LMC Relay Harness

Re: Project 78 High Sierra

yeah a lot of guys use them on here...Its just a matter of being patient and lining them up. This is actually my second set due to having some bad gauges but i really like them and hey go great with my Blue LED bulbs..Its only like $25..basically just big white stickers

Re: Project 78 High Sierra

Well with 99 degree weather and 50% chance of rain I said screw it and went to work today...

I previously had sanded everything down yesterday so I started with cleaning everything off, and masking the door and cab....

Also since that last door I decided it was wise to use my respirator this time lol

Hit it all with 3 cans of high build primer and now im letting it dry... 30 mins after finishing it started to sprinkle so luckily the primer drys fast...

I also had an extra glove box door and decided that since I have changed from painting the truck the stock color to Blitz black I can now paint the interior...

So I bought some Rust-Oleum Sun Rise Red that I thought would match the seat better...

Stock glove box door vs Test Painted Door

Test Painted door next to seat red
What do you all think? Close enough match?
