Re: alignment results
I brought the toe out a out 1/8-3/16 by my crude measurements last night and drive it to work this morning. Might be slightly better but she still bounces back and forth in the lane instead of going straight. Its going to the alignment shop tomorrow so that will tell me something. Hopefully this new place will see a part I put on wrong or something that just isn't right. Cross my fingers anyway.

Re: alignment results
did you try different tires yet, or rotate them from to rear? that could make a big difference as well. I borrowed my dads suburban when I wrecked my truck. drove it 500 miles with a hard pull to one side. front tires were crappy so I replaced them. It drove straight as an arrow after that. had a belt separating or something in one.

Re: alignment results
Just had the tires rotated and balanced. They are about 75% tread dean mud terrains(they are more like an all Terrain tire than anything) I was gonna go out some new bfg at tires on it but I'm a little gun shy to spend a grand on tires and not wanna drive it if its all over the place. The current tires where on the truck when I bought them. Date code says they were made 2005. Thanks

Re: alignment results
I know tires can make a huge difference sometimes. Bought my 2011 ford ranger and the tires that came new on it were so bad I went and bought new tires at 500 miles. Those dealer tires would slip in the rain so bad you would almost go off the road and very little stability in the dry pavement either.

Re: alignment results
Guess there is a recall on those dean mud Terrain sxt in the 265/75/16 size for belt seperation, but I don't know if this is a symptom of that.

Re: alignment results
Ok guys so I took it to an alignment shop this morning, real old school guy owns it. Guy was really nice let me come down in the pit and explained what he was doing as he went along. He took the linkage off and noticed that the passenger side spindle was to tight and the upper ball joint was too tight. He loosened it a few times and snuged it back up. He had trouble getting the cotter pin back through the ball joint shaft. turns out the whole was drilled off center and the other shop that did my ball joints used a cheap over seas replacement, so I will have to replace these at some point. He got that back together and then adjusted the toe. I told him I had messed with it and he said I had it toed out half an inch oops. He set it at total toe in at .08. He adjusted the drag link and got the wheel dead on straiight. Anyway took the truck out and it drives great now real straight down the road and no wander. Hopefully it will stay like that. Thanks for all the help guys.
