getting P0120 & P2135 codes

Wondering if I have the correct stuff for my motor for the DBW setup. I am getting P0120 & P2135 codes

PCM is programed to be an 06 5.3
SERV. NO. 12589463

Throttle Body is
1257080rme75-


TAC module
12573059


There are no #'s on the pedal

'06 should have the all plastic pedal.

yup, you'd need the molded plastic one. I had the exact opposite problem when I did mine, got the new one needed the old one. Ls1Nova saved me on that one!

DAMN! Someone told me I could try to reprogram my PCM to be an 05 and use that pedal/TAC. Do you think it would work? I was told I had an 06 motor, but with the return and reg on the fuel rail and the plastic fuel rails in previous posts everyone thought it was an older engine.

Is the TAC module the same for an 06?

I think there are different part numbers for them. I have an '06 and can check later tonite and tell you if it's an '06 or not.

Thanks! If needed I will buy a 06 pedal, but just want to make sure that is the fix and changing the pcm to an 05 won't fix it. The place I got my engine from said call back next week and they will have one...

The TAC module you have matches your pedal. It's probably because you have it programmed as an "06. My 2006 TAC has a part number 12590008, so you could either try changing it in the tune, or get an '06 TAC and pedal.

So I had the PCM reprogrammed for an 05 and no go. I still get the same codes and no pedal working. When the harness is reworked are there Amy wires changed up / removed that would affect the pedal and tac? I have 2 pedal assemblies, tac modules and cables but get the same codes.

P02135 says throttle/pedal position sensor/switch "A"/"B" voltage correlation


If not the harness then could it be the throttle body? When I turn the key on you can hear it click the servo on the throttle body twice.

Broken wires at the throttle body plug is a common problem on the trucks these engines came from, The odds of them breaking on a swap is really high.

I read that, and tried pulling in the wires to see if they stretch and show white, but did not notice any. Maybe I will pickup some wire and replace the wire 12" back. I could try to test it on a multimeter, but don't have any clue what I should be getting @ each pin.

yep, I swapped my throttle body out for another and it worked fine. Something was up with the old one I guess.
