What is this part on a 95 S-10 4 banger?
It is on the air intake just behind the radiator. The sensor is in place but the wire is disconnected and taped up.

Looks like an intake air temperature sensor. Just tells the computer how hot or cold the air going into the engine is.

OK, Thanks. So it might effect power or fuel mileage maybe, but not keep it from running right.
