Re: anyone have blueprint for flip kit?

Sorry no blueprints, but my 2 cents, i thought the same thing, why spend the money when i can make them??? i wanted to make a set but i didnt think that it would hold up to the weight of the ass end...so i forfeited the 85 dollars to a DJM kit and got the well needed shock extension brackets. those came in handy especially since i just bought new stock rear shocks when i did my flip kit. if i would've made the flip brackets i would have to buy dropped shocks....i really had to weigh some options. not saying i dont trust my work but if its readily available, why waste the time???

making a set isn't that bad either, if you wanna buy drop shocks and you have a welder and grinder and time, go for it...but i would buy the kit.

find some thick flat bar steel and a nice auto-darkening welding helmet.

Re: anyone have blueprint for flip kit?

Here are the dementions for the flip bracket, dont have them for the shock extenders but the inside demention of the extenders are the same as the outside dementions of the factory shock mount if you want to try and build those too.

Re: anyone have blueprint for flip kit?

I installed two of these kits last year with no problems, what could possibly different between the kits and 1/2 ton rear axles not being uniform?

My kit fit perfect. Shock extenders slid right on and bolted right up easy.

Re: anyone have blueprint for flip kit?

Will this also work on newer trucks? Like 88-98 or 99+?

What size U-bolts are needed?
