what do you guys

I bought a long bed 86 2wd crew I have a friend who knows where a 08 that has been on the strip mines it whole life duramax and allision trans it has been beat to sh%t do you guys think it would be better to try and put my body on it or take the engine and use it in my 86 I like a 2wd better than than 4 wheel I can sell the trans and get a 2wd trans anybody doing a build putting a duramax in a 2wd truck

i would say take the drive train and put it in your truck then do all the wireing. if you swap cabs then its more work and still have to wire it.
