stereo question.

I have a aftermarket sanyo radio(02410459) that I can't find any info on. I would like to know the ohm and watt rating on it. Right now I have only one Jensen speaker and it is rated at 75 watts but doesn't have a ohms rating. The Pyle speakers were given to me and wanted to know if they would work. There 60 watt, 4 ohm speakers. They will be going in the kickpanels. Help/advice is greatly appreciated. I will get pics up ASAP.

Re: stereo question.

Most car audio speakers are generaly 4 ohm and that radio is probably compatible with 4-8 ohm speakers. I wouldn't expect that radio to put out more than 10 or 15 watts per channel but I'd hook it up and see how it sounds, you wont hurt it.

Re: stereo question.

You can run those speakers with that deck. As mentioned previously, that deck would put out 15 watts max, closer to 5-10.
Running low wattage and turning up the sound to the point of distortion kills speakers more often than running too much power. So, just keep your volume down below the distortion level and you will be fine.

Re: stereo question.

Ok. I know I should use new wire but I don't have time to pull the bezel and new wires. So will it be fine to use the existing wires?
