ordering carpet-stupid question

How the heck to i know if i have a 'high hump' or 'low hump'? I am running a column shift on my 57 now, but i have no idea how much difference there is or what it originally was. I'm going to order carpet for it and don't want the wrong piece.

this is the best picture i have while at work.

Not a dumb question. I'd like to know as well.

Low hump

High hump

Pretty sure if you had a 3 on the tree you have a low hump and if you had a the stick on the floor then you have a high hump. If someone else knows for sure can chime in.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Re: ordering carpet-stupid question

Thanks Jim. That helps. It's a high hump but it sure is not 'high'. Not much difference. Maybe 2" higher than the pan.

Re: ordering carpet-stupid question

As I recall my 59 w/ 4 on the floor had a hump and my current 3 on the tree 59 doesn't.

Re: ordering carpet-stupid question
